Phoebe Hatch (b. 2004, Boulder, CO) is a painter investigating the interconnectedness of environmental systems, material histories, and the human body. She is pursuing a BFA in Painting with a concentration in Nature–Culture–Sustainability at the Rhode Island School of Design (expected 2026).
Her work has been exhibited nationally at the RISD Museum, Dryden Gallery, Providence Art Club, Dairy Arts Center, and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, among others. Recognition includes the Director’s Choice Award from Art Fluent (2025), the Emerging Artist Grant from the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (2024), and multiple Best in Show awards in Colorado juried exhibitions.
Hatch has held roles at the Newport Art Museum, Providence Art Club Gallery, RISD Nature Lab, and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, experiences that continue to inform her research-driven practice. Her work has been featured in The Denver Post, Canvas Rebel, Colorado Homes and Lifestyle, and Mountain Living. She lives and works in Providence, Rhode Island.
